FTP with *Internet Exlorer for the PC
With this method you do not need an FTP account with NML. You must disable Pop-up blockers. This is only for Internet Explorer, it *WILL NOT WORK with FireFox, Opera, Safari, AOL browsers or on a MAC - please go to FTP for MAC and FTP CLIENT Users instead.
1) Open the source folder (where your files are).
2) Fill in the form below and click the Send Files button
3) The Form and Send Files button are replaced by the Open Window button, press the Open Window button.
4) On the window that opens click the tab (in the browser bar between Print and Tools) scroll down and
click Open FTP site in Windows Explorer a new window opens this is the FTP window (see number 1 below for more info).
5) Drag your files from your open folder into the FTP window, wait for them to finish copying close FTP window.
6) The process sends NML an email, if there is a problem with your files we will contact you.
To FTP your files to NML Please provide the following information (green is required):

AN EXISTING JOB (NML Job Number, or your Job Name): 
A NEW ORDER For new orders please include complete instructions with your files.
IMPORTANT: If you send files without a job number, job name or instructions, you will delay the processing of your order.
Please include any additonal instructions below (required for New Orders):
 
1. Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage for IE 7.0, 8.0 + 9.0 for IE 6.0 or 5.0 see number 2.
Solution: Click the Page tab (between Print and Tools). Scroll down to - "Open FTP site in Windows Explorer"
You may encounter 1 of 2 windows. They both have the SAME SOLUTION. Move your cursor over the image at left to see the other window. Also see number 2. Page is Not Available... if you are using Internet Explorer 6.0 -7.0.
2. Internet Explorer 9.0 Page tab missing. Click on View > Toolbars and then click on Command Bar now you will see the Page tab.
3. Webpage Is Not Available for Internet Explorer. You must have "Enable folder view for
    FTP sites" checked, go to Tools select internet options and check enable click for example: Folder View.
4. Wrong Browser. You must be using Internet Explorer it will not work with any other browser.
5. Can't see or lose FTP windowReduce the size of your windows, you must be able to see all windows -- see sample below).
6. I drag the file into the window and it doesn't copy
    Do not click or try to copy files into blue area of FTP window -- see sample below --
DRAG THE FILE FROM THE WHITE AREA OF YOUR WINDOW INTO THE WHITE AREA OF THE FTP WINDOW.
The panels on the left, which are blue in this example may be another color on your machine
7. Be sure all POP-UP blockers are disabled or set to ALLOW pop up from gonml.com & printnml.com.
How Do I Know My Files Have Copied? Depending on your connection speed you may or may not see a countdown bar. Regardless, when the file is completely copied it will appear in the window as in above.
Do I need to email NML when I'm done? No, the submission process sends NML an email that you have just attempted to upload files (this is why we ask for your email address on the login form).

If you cannot access this service at all, download a trial version of an ftp client software like WS_FTP Home (trial versions are good for 30 days) or a free one like FileZilla, once you've installed it go to and use the "FTP for MAC and FTP Client Users" of our FTP service instead.
