FTP your files to NML for MAC users

IMPORTANT - MAC users must use an FTP Client Software (see below).
If you have any POP-UP blockers running you may not be able to use this service--
If you encounter any difficulties please call, or Email tech support.

For first-timers a description of the process is below.

First you sign in we need your name, email and a brief description of your files. When you press the Submit button a temporary subdirectory is created just for your files.

You will receive a pop-up window that will give you the following:
SERVER NAME: (this will be an IP address)
LOGIN: (this will be a sequence of letters)
PASSWORD: (this will be another sequence of letters)
You will need an FTP Client to send us your files.
This tutorial uses Fetch but any FTP Client of your choosing will do.
You can get a trial version of FETCH at: Fetchsoftworks (You can review others at CNET.COM)

Startup your FTP Client, from the file menu select New Connection

Server IP Address into Host window
Sequence of letters into User ID window
and
Sequence of letters into Password window.

You need to access the subdirectory so press the little triangle above Shortcuts:

Subdirectory into Initial directory
(Most FTP Client software will let you make a Shortcut for future visits--however you will
need to re-enter the Subdirectory (Initial directory) for each visit since it is recreated
with each pass.) Please refer to your software's help information for storing frequently
visited sites.
With all necessary information in place press OK

The software will open a window into your temporary sub folder on our server,

use the PUT FILES button to browse to the files you wish to send to NML.

From this point you can add all the files necessary for us to process your job.
Note: To send the file you use the Open button.
When finished close all windows.

If you find that you are a Frequent FTP'er to NML we will set up a separate FTP account just for you. For more information about that please call during normal office hours.

FTP Options The options window diagrams how to connect to the Server. You can do so right away or choose to send later.

Email notification Sending generates an email notifying NML that you have sent files to our server. If we have any questions or problems we will notify you as soon as possible.
