Naturally, in our deadline intensive industry, we complete scanning jobs as quickly as is practical. But we place our emphasis on getting the job right rather than simply done.

| Our Scanning Process |
1 All scanning at NML is done by our superb Crosfield drum scanner
by a fully trained operator. Despite recent advances in Flatbed and CCD technology, there is no substitute for the quality of a drum scan.
2 All transparencies are oil-mounted for improved color and elimination of superficial scratches. |

 3 All originals are individually set-up on the scanner where careful analysis is made of contrast, tone, color-correction, cast and USM.
4 All scans are each checked in photoshop, and adjustments are made, if necessary, to achieve the optimum result.

5 Color proofs are available to ensure quality control.
6 Even after the scanning process has finished, our technicians are on hand to discuss any queries you may have with your scans, and to make any changes that may be required. |
